चाहते किसीकी कब रूकी है,चाहते किसीकी कब रूकेगी,
ऐसी चाहतो के पीछे भागे हम, तो जिंदगी हमारी कहाँ रूकेगी|
बदले कई जन्म फिर भी हमने अपनी मंजिल नही पाई है,
पाएँगे कब और कैसे अपनी मंजिल कहना ये मुश्किल है|
ठानी नही है जहाँ मंजिल कि वहाँ सैकड़ों मंजिलें है हमारी,
अपनी हर इच्छा को कहे हम अपनी मंज़िल, ये है हालत हमारी।
नहीं रूकी है, ना रूकेगी ये इच्छाओं की कतारें कभी,
चाहते हुए भी नही मिलेगी सही मंजिल हमें तो हमारी।
बढ़ती चाहते हमारी तो, बन गई है हमारी लाइलाज बीमारी,
आए है अब प्रभु तेरे शरण में विनती तू सुन तो हमारी,
है शुरूआत जहाँ जिसकी वही पर है अंत उसका, तेरे पास है प्रभु हमारी दवाई।

cāhatē kisīkī kaba rūkī hai,cāhatē kisīkī kaba rūkēgī,
aisī cāhatō kē pīchē bhāgē hama, tō jiṁdagī hamārī kahām̐ rūkēgī|
badalē kaī janma phira bhī hamanē apanī maṁjila nahī pāī hai,
pāēm̐gē kaba aura kaisē apanī maṁjila kahanā yē muśkila hai|
ṭhānī nahī hai jahām̐ maṁjila ki vahām̐ saikaḍa़ōṁ maṁjilēṁ hai hamārī,
apanī hara icchā kō kahē hama apanī maṁja़ila, yē hai hālata hamārī।
nahīṁ rūkī hai, nā rūkēgī yē icchāōṁ kī katārēṁ kabhī,
cāhatē huē bhī nahī milēgī sahī maṁjila hamēṁ tō hamārī।
baḍha़tī cāhatē hamārī tō, bana gaī hai hamārī lāilāja bīmārī,
āē hai aba prabhu tērē śaraṇa mēṁ vinatī tū suna tō hamārī,
hai śurūāta jahām̐ jisakī vahī para hai aṁta usakā, tērē pāsa hai prabhu hamārī davāī।

If we run after such desires, then where will our life stop
Changed many births, still we have not found our destinationIt is difficult to say when and how you will find your destination
Where the destination is not fixed, there are hundreds of destinaton
Tell our every wish we our destination, this is our condition
The queues of wishes never stop and they will never stop
We will not get the right destination even if we want
Our increasing needs has become our incurable disease
Now the Lord has came to take refuge,if you listen to our request
Where the beginning of once is, his end is also there,
You have the Lord our medicine
