પળે-પળે બદલાતા મારા વ્યવહારની આ વાત છે

નથી સ્થિરતા જેમાં, એવા વર્તનની આ વાત છે

નથી ફરિયાદ સિવાય કાંઈ, બસ એમાં ફરિયાદ ને ફરિયાદ છે

આશા ભરી બહુ ઓછી, નિરાશાથી એ તો ભરપૂર છે

સત્ય ને અસત્ય વચ્ચે ખેલાતી આંખમિચોલીની આ વાત છે

અહંકાર ભરેલા નાદાન હૈયાનો જેમાં સાથ છે

છે એ તો એવી રે વાત, જેમાં ના કાંઈ માલ છે

લાપરવાઈ ને બેપરવાઈથી ભરપૂર મારી વાત છે

નથી ખબર જ્યાં ખૂદની, આવી બેખબરીની આ વાત છે

આશા ને નિરાશા વચ્ચે રમતી, જિંદગીની આ વાત છે

nathī sthiratā jēmāṁ, ēvā vartananī ā vāta chē

nathī phariyāda sivāya kāṁī, basa ēmāṁ phariyāda nē phariyāda chē

āśā bharī bahu ōchī, nirāśāthī ē tō bharapūra chē

satya nē asatya vaccē khēlātī āṁkhamicōlīnī ā vāta chē

ahaṁkāra bharēlā nādāna haiyānō jēmāṁ sātha chē

chē ē tō ēvī rē vāta, jēmāṁ nā kāṁī māla chē

lāparavāī nē bēparavāīthī bharapūra mārī vāta chē

nathī khabara jyāṁ khūdanī, āvī bēkhabarīnī ā vāta chē
