Oh Lord, unique indeed is your divine play,
Sometimes you make me laugh, and sometimes you make me cry.
While laughing, who knows at which exact moment you might make me weep,
And yet, right while weeping, you suddenly bring a smile to my face.
Your will alone is supreme, and you are the living proof of it,
Yet, I still set out to behave according to my own whims.
I know that that it is your kingdom,
Yet, I try to establish my own authority.
You are the grand giver of this entire universe,
Yet, I fail to even become a true, humble seeker before you.
