We strike the whole, unbroken pot with a pebble and break it,
Yet we cannot seem to forget this habit of throwing pebbles.
Breaking the wholeness brings us a strange, fleeting joy,
And without knowing the consequences, we keep creating new messes.
With our very own hands, we ruin everything that is ours.
For the sake of a mere moment's satisfaction, we drift away in life,
And we bid a final farewell to our true happiness.
All the water flows out of the broken pot;
We tire ourselves out refilling it, but it just keeps becoming empty.
