હશે ભેદ જ્યાં સુધી જીવનમાં, ભાવ ત્યાં તો વ્યક્ત નહીં થઈ શકે
હશે ગમા-અણગમા જ્યાં હૈયામાં, પૂરા ભાવ તો નહીં જાગી શકે
હશે જ્યાં સુધી સુગંધ ને દુર્ગંધનો ભેદ, ત્યાં ભાવ તો રૂંધાઈ જાશે
હશે અનુભૂતિ સુખદુઃખની, ત્યાં સુધી જીવનમાં ભાવ પૂરા વ્યક્ત નહીં થઈ શકે
જ્યાં સુધી હશે અહં-અભિમાન, ત્યાં સુધી ભાવ તારા અટકી જાશે
જ્યાં સુધી હશે સ્વાર્થ હૈયે, ભાવ તો ત્યાં વહેંચાઈ જશે
રંગ અને રૂપમાં તારા ભાવ તો, તારા આકર્ષણનું કેન્દ્ર બની જાશે
સમર્પણની ભાવના વિના, ભાવ તારા પૂરા વ્યક્ત નહીં થઈ શકે

haśē bhēda jyāṁ sudhī jīvanamāṁ, bhāva tyāṁ tō vyakta nahīṁ thaī śakē
haśē gamā-aṇagamā jyāṁ haiyāmāṁ, pūrā bhāva tō nahīṁ jāgī śakē
haśē jyāṁ sudhī sugaṁdha nē durgaṁdhanō bhēda, tyāṁ bhāva tō rūṁdhāī jāśē
haśē anubhūti sukhaduḥkhanī, tyāṁ sudhī jīvanamāṁ bhāva pūrā vyakta nahīṁ thaī śakē
jyāṁ sudhī haśē ahaṁ-abhimāna, tyāṁ sudhī bhāva tārā aṭakī jāśē
jyāṁ sudhī haśē svārtha haiyē, bhāva tō tyāṁ vahēṁcāī jaśē
raṁga anē rūpamāṁ tārā bhāva tō, tārā ākarṣaṇanuṁ kēndra banī jāśē
samarpaṇanī bhāvanā vinā, bhāva tārā pūrā vyakta nahīṁ thaī śakē

As long as there are divisions and biases in life, true devotion can never be expressed.
As long as likes and dislikes occupy the heart, complete devotion can never awaken.
As long as the distinction between fragrance and stench remains, your inner devotion will be suffocated.
As long as you are trapped in the experiences of pleasure and pain, the full depth of devotion cannot manifest in life.
As long as ego and pride persist, your expressions of devotion will be blocked;
As long as selfishness dwells in the heart, your devotion will remain divided.
In the world of colors and forms, your emotions will only revolve around worldly attractions.
Without the spirit of absolute surrender, your true devotion can never be fully expressed.
