જેમ-જેમ હૃદયના અંતર ઘટતા જાય છે

તેમ-તેમ ઊર્મિઓનો પ્રેમ વધતો જાય છે

જેમ-જેમ તેમનામાં સમાતી જાઉં છું

તેમ-તેમ સંપૂર્ણ બનતી જાઉં છું

જ્યારે મારા હૃદયની મલિનતા ખાલી થતી જાય છે

ત્યારે મારા પ્રભુની સ્થાપના થાય છે

મારી અનમોલ ક્ષણો, ઘેલી થઈને વિતાવું છું

આ ધરા પર આવવાનું ધ્યેય, મને સમજાઈ રહ્યું છે

દુનિયામાં રહું છું, પણ દુનિયાથી દૂર ચાલી જાઉં છું

jēma-jēma hr̥dayanā aṁtara ghaṭatā jāya chē

tēma-tēma ūrmiōnō prēma vadhatō jāya chē

jēma-jēma tēmanāmāṁ samātī jāuṁ chuṁ

tēma-tēma saṁpūrṇa banatī jāuṁ chuṁ

jyārē mārā hr̥dayanī malinatā khālī thatī jāya chē

tyārē mārā prabhunī sthāpanā thāya chē

mārī anamōla kṣaṇō, ghēlī thaīnē vitāvuṁ chuṁ

ā dharā para āvavānuṁ dhyēya, manē samajāī rahyuṁ chē

duniyāmāṁ rahuṁ chuṁ, paṇa duniyāthī dūra cālī jāuṁ chuṁ

Explanation in English

As the distances of the heart keep decreasing.

The love of emotions keeps increasing.

As I keep merging into Him.

I keep becoming complete.

When the impurity of my heart keeps getting emptied.

That is when my Lord becomes enshrined there.

I spend my priceless moments, having become blissfully mad in devotion.

The purpose of coming onto this earth is now becoming clear to me.

I live in the world, yet I walk far away from the world.
