I let the priceless moments of my life slip away in innocence and lack of understanding;
Becoming impatient, I lose the true sweetness of the fruit.
Instead of spreading the light of knowledge, I keep building walls of ignorance.
I will not be able to wander through these dark alleys of life anymore;
If only through my ignorance, I could truly understand my Lord,
That is the only piece of wisdom and understanding I ever need.
Otherwise, let me remain foolish or ignorant in the eyes of the world,
But I will never be able to live without You.
