O Lord, this world is as vast as a massive ocean,
Where anger, pride, and greed exist in the form of pythons and snakes.
I am merely a tiny fish in this immense ocean,
Surrounded on all sides by crocodiles in the form of wandering vices.
When they might turn me into their prey, it cannot be predicted.
There are hunters all around me, leaving me miserable and helpless in the center.
When I might become their victim, no one can truly tell.
Though my current form is small, if I am blessed with Your companionship,
My spiritual form will expand so greatly that no one will ever be able to consume it.
