O God, I know you, I don’t know any mantra or chants.
I just know your name, I don’t know any scriptures nor any ideology.
I don’t know any mode of worship or Aarti, I am your illiterate child.
Whether I am calling your name with my heart or only from my lips, that also I do not know.
I do not understand your convoluted talks, I am imbecile, I do not understand your words.
I do not know anything, yet Oh God, I want to go beyond the worldly illusions.
I only know so much that you will take me across.
