Through love, even the Supreme Soul is pleased,
But those appeased through bitterness only end up burned.
Love is but another name for nectar (Amrit),
Bitterness is but another name for destruction.
From animosity, bitterness is born,
Animosity is but another name for bitterness.
Through affection, true love blossoms,
Affection is but another name for God.
