Tossed around in the whirlpool of desires,
I am thrown from one unknown place to another.
Just to satisfy these desires,
I keep groping helplessly everywhere.
I keep abandoning the path of spirituality (Yog),
And I keep sliding towards material indulgence (Bhog).
I keep playing hide-and-seek with life,
And I keep getting lost in this bewildering maze.
Oh Lord, dispel this storm of desires from within me,
And please, accept me as your own at the earliest.
