With every single memory of Yours, O Lord, a complaint arises.
Yet, it is only to complain that I remember You in the first place.
From my lips, I truly desire to speak sweetly,
But the bitterness of my heart ends up doing its work anyway.
Even from the mouth of untruth, the truth somehow slips out.
Equipped with a never-ending caravan of questions; the moment I see You, I forget everything I wanted to say.
I want to speak with peace and calmness, but instead, I end up throwing tantrums and throwing a fit.
I deeply desire to empty myself out, but in the illusion of emptying, my heart remains completely full.
I know everything, yet in my ego, I still remain completely oblivious.
