અમારા કાજે ત્યાગ તેં તો કર્યો, તોય તને ના જાણી શક્યા, પ્રભુ
તને ના ઓળખી શક્યા, પ્રભુ
વહાવી પ્રેમની ધારા જીવનમાં, દુઃખ અમારાં તો ભુલાવી દીધાં રે, પ્રભુ,
સુખ ને સુખ દીધું જીવનમાં, તોય તને ના યાદ કરી શક્યા - તને ના ઓળખી શક્યા, પ્રભુ
વરસાવી કરુણાની ધારા જીવનમાં, કષ્ટો અમારાં તો કાપ્યાં - તને ના ઓળખી શક્યા, પ્રભુ
તોય જીવનને કરુણામય ના બનાવી શક્યા - તને ના ઓળખી શક્યા, પ્રભુ

What you did in this life, we could never do, O Lord!
The sacrifice you made in this life, we could never make, O Lord!
You made that sacrifice for our sake, yet we could not know you, O Lord!
We could not recognize you, O Lord!
By flowing a stream of love in life, you made us forget our miseries, O Lord!
You gave nothing but happiness in life, yet we could not remember you - we could not recognize you, O Lord!
By showering a stream of compassion in life, you destroyed our sufferings - we could not recognize you, O Lord!
Yet we could not make our own lives compassionate - we could not recognize you, O Lord!
