दूर कर अज्ञान, हमें थोडा ज्ञान दे दो प्रभु, आपकी सच्ची पहचान दे दो
करो मुक्त हमें सुख-दुख की इन बँधी हुई जंजीरों से प्रभु, हमें मुक्त कर दो
रहकर साथ प्रभु, रहकर पास, हमसे आप छुपे ना फिरो प्रभु, अपने दर्शन दे दो
प्यार भरी आँखों से अपनी, हम पर प्यार बरसा दो, हमें अपनी शरण में ले लो
पास बैठकर, लंबी मुलाकात हमसे आप कर लो, हमें अपने जैसा बना लो
खेलेंगे हम आपके साथ, फिर खेल होगी उसमें प्यार की
हमें अपने अंदर छुपा लो, फिर चाहे जहाँ छुपना हो छुप जाओ प्रभु, हमें अपनी शरण में ले लो

nā satāō hamēṁ yūm̐ naṁdalāla, pahalē hī hai māyā kē satāē huē hama
hamēṁ apanī śaraṇa mēṁ lē lō prabhu, hamēṁ apanī śaraṇa mēṁ lē lō, caraṇōṁ mēṁ hamēṁ jagā dē dō
dūra kara ajñāna, hamēṁ thōḍā jñāna dē dō prabhu, āpakī saccī pahacāna dē dō
karō mukta hamēṁ sukha-dukha kī ina bam̐dhī huī jaṁjīrōṁ sē prabhu, hamēṁ mukta kara dō
rahakara sātha prabhu, rahakara pāsa, hamasē āpa chupē nā phirō prabhu, apanē darśana dē dō
pyāra bharī ām̐khōṁ sē apanī, hama para pyāra barasā dō, hamēṁ apanī śaraṇa mēṁ lē lō
pāsa baiṭhakara, laṁbī mulākāta hamasē āpa kara lō, hamēṁ apanē jaisā banā lō
khēlēṁgē hama āpakē sātha, phira khēla hōgī usamēṁ pyāra kī
hamēṁ apanē aṁdara chupā lō, phira cāhē jahām̐ chupanā hō chupa jāō prabhu, hamēṁ apanī śaraṇa mēṁ lē lō

You come into my sleep, yet You are not a mere dream.
You are settled in my vision, yet You are not just a sight to behold.
My intoxicating Shyam (Krishna), my enchanting Mohan (Krishna), what kind of game are You playing with me?
Do not torment us like this, O son of Nand (Krishna); we are already deeply tormented by Maya (worldly illusion).
Take us into Your refuge, O Lord, take us into Your refuge; grant us a place at Your feet.
Dispel our ignorance and grant us a little wisdom, O Lord; give us Your true realization.
Free us from these binding chains of worldly pleasure and pain, O Lord; set us free.
Staying right beside us, staying so close, do not keep hiding from us, O Lord; give us a glimpse of You.
With Your eyes full of affection, shower Your love upon us; take us into Your refuge.
Sit down beside us and hold a long conversation with us; mold us into someone just like You.
We will then play together with You, a game that will be made entirely of pure love.
Hide us deep within Yourself, and then You may hide wherever You wish, O Lord; just take us into Your refuge.
