જીવનમાં સહારા વગર નહીં ચાલે, એકલા નહીં જીવાય
એક સાથીની તો જરૂર પડશે, જીવનમાં સહારા...
જેમ નહીં ચાલે શરીરને આહાર વિના, જીવનમાં સહારા...
પ્યાસ નહીં બુઝે જેમ પાણી વગર, જીવનમાં સહારા...
પ્રેમ-પ્યાર વગર હૈયું કઠણ બની જશે, જીવનમાં સહારા...
તું ત્યાં થોભી જઈશ, નહીં વધી શકે આગળ, જીવનમાં સહારા...
ગોતજે મજબૂત એવો તો સહારો જીવનમાં
બાંધજે ગાંઠ એવા સંબંધની, એમાં એકરૂપ તું થઈ જાય
પણ છૂટી એ તો ના જાય, ક્યાંક તૂટી એ તો ના જાય
ચાલતાં-ચાલતાં થાકે જ્યારે તું, તારી થકાવટ દૂર કરી એ તો જાય
પણ થાકી ના એ તો જાય, જીવનમાં સહારા...

You cannot get by without support in life, you cannot live all alone;
A companion will surely be needed, you cannot get by without support in life.
Just as the body cannot function without food, you cannot get by without support in life.
Just as thirst cannot be quenched without water, you cannot get by without support in life.
Without love and affection, the heart will turn to stone, you cannot get by without support in life.
You will come to a sudden halt and won't be able to move forward, you cannot get by without support in life.
Seek out a support that is truly strong in your life.
Tie the knot of such a relationship where you become completely merge in it.
Ensure that it never slips away, ensure that it never breaks.
When you get completely exhausted while walking, it should come and wash all your weariness away.
And yet, that support itself must never grow tired, you cannot get by without support in life.
