જોયા મેં તો બહુ રૂપ તમારા, ઓળખી ન શકી એકેય સ્વરૂપને. રહી આશ્ચર્યમાં નીરખતી તમારા એકેએક રૂપને. જાણ્યું તમારા અસ્તિત્વને, પણ ન સમજી સર્જનહારને. આવી સૃષ્ટિમાં પણ કર્યું નિર્માણ તેં પ્રભુ. જેણે આ જગતને સરજ્યું, ન જાણી શકી એની લીલાને. પણ જ્યારે જાણ થઈ તમારી લીલાની, ત્યારે મારા આશ્ચર્યનો અંત આવ્યો.

Transliteration in English

jōyā mēṁ tō bahu rūpa tamārā, ōlakhī na śakī ēkēya svarūpanē. rahī āścaryamāṁ nīrakhatī tamārā ēkēēka rūpanē. jāṇyuṁ tamārā astitvanē, paṇa na samajī sarjanahāranē. āvī sr̥ṣṭimāṁ paṇa karyuṁ nirmāṇa tēṁ prabhu. jēṇē ā jagatanē sarajyuṁ, na jāṇī śakī ēnī līlānē. paṇa jyārē jāṇa thaī tamārī līlānī, tyārē mārā āścaryanō aṁta āvyō.

I saw so many of Your forms, yet I could not recognize even one of them. I remained in absolute wonder, gazing at each form of Yours. I came to know Your existence, but I could not comprehend the Creator Himself. You created such a wondrous universe, O Lord. I could not understand the divine play of the One who created this world, but when I finally realized Your divine play, my astonishment came to an end.
