O Lord, many times I have kept placing wrong and shallow demands before You. At that moment, I do not realize it, but later, the realization dawns upon me. Swept away by greed and temptations, I keep asking for things I should never ask for. O Lord, I completely lack the wisdom to see through this, so please grant me that understanding. Put a halt to my endless greed and desires, and bathe me in the vast ocean of contentment.
